Extraordinary organs at extraordinary prices Once in a while we come across Vintage Hammond Organs
that are in extraordinary condition. Right now we happen to have two such organs and a third that is not far behind.

The first organ is a late model C-2 organ with smooth drawbars. This organ was purchased from a family that had purchased it brand new in 1954. The organ was played by the father, and then later by the son. The son is now in
his 60’s and is going to be relocating. Everything on this organ works perfectly and the cabinet is in excellent
condition. The family used the organ with a Hammond tone cabinet. We equipped the organ with a 6122 connector
kit and a half moon Leslie switch, and added a model 22 Leslie which has been updated to a 122 by adding a two
speed motor. This organ and Leslie speaker is available for $4,500.

The second organ is a Model A-100 with a Leslie speaker. The organ is in excellent condition and everything works perfectly. The cabinet is also in excellent condition. The Leslie speaker is a two speed Leslie and the cabinet is in excellent condition. It had been modified previously and is usable for travel, having recessed handles and casters. It has the traditional Leslie wood finish, so it is also appropriate for a church setting. This organ and Leslie speaker is priced at just $4,000. Both of these organs have been serviced by a professional technician and the amplifiers and preamps have been recapped. Pictures of these organs are shown below. The third organ is a special one but will not be ready for a few more weeks. This is a C-2 which also was a one owner organ. The organ comes with the original bill of sale from the music store from October 1954. This was one of the last C-2 organs made by Hammond. The organ has smooth drawbars and everything works perfectly. The keyboard feels brand new. Apparently the owner had not played it for many, many years. This organ also comes with a Leslie speaker and is priced at $4,500. Once the organ and Leslie have been gone over by our technician, it will be available for sale.
